ROUTE CORONALLACS
The Coronallacs is a circular hiking route that connects the four guarded refuges that exist in Andorra: the refuge of l’Illa, of Sorteny, of the Comapedrosa and of the Juclar. A total of 90 km of mountain landscapes and spectacular views, divided into 5 long stages, each covering a distance between 13 and 22 km (which is to say an average of 18.4km per day).
The trail is designed so that you spend a night in each of the mountain refuge, meaning that you don’t have to carry much weight. The difficulty of the route varies between medium and medium-high, depending on the section.
The starting point is in Escaldes-Engordany, in the centre of the Principality, but before starting out, remember to pick up your pass from the tourist office in town, where they will give you a map. Also, don’t forget to book your accommodation for each night along the route.
